Silent Hill f "review"

So, recently I started Silent Hill f, it's an amazing game in my personal opinion.

Performance
The game runs great on my system, and I have had no issues so far. I heard people complaining about typical UE5 issues like stutter and low FPS, as well as pop-in from the too-short shader compilation process.
That process took around 30 - 40 seconds on my PC, and after that, it was smooth sailing.

My Hardware:
CPU: R7 9800X3D
GPU: RX 7900XTX
RAM: 64GB DDR5 @ 6400MT/s
SSD: Gen4 NVMe 2TB Samsung 980Pro
OS: Arch Linux / Windows 11

I tested the game on windows as well as on linux; neither of them showed a performance difference for me. Before the PC version, I played the game on the PS5 (non pro), which felt too slow for me. Being locked to 30 FPS so you don't have to endure a blurry image in performance mode just doesn't feel right to me in 2025.
